How can I get a hard copy of my Aadhar card?

To obtain a physical copy of your Aadhaar card, you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official UIDAI website: Go to the UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in.

2. Select the "Download Aadhaar" option: On the UIDAI website homepage, click on the "Download Aadhaar" option under the "My Aadhaar" section.

3. Choose the appropriate option: On the "Download Aadhaar" page, you will have two options to download your Aadhaar: using your Aadhaar number (UID) or using your Enrolment ID (EID). Select the appropriate option based on the information you have.

4. Enter your details: Fill in the required details such as your Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID, full name, PIN code, and the security code displayed on the page.

Note: The printed copy of your Aadhaar card is equally valid and acceptable as the original Aadhaar card.

To open the PDF file, you will need to enter a password that consists of the first four letters of your name in CAPITAL letters, followed by your birth year in YYYY format. For example, if your name is Ravi Kumar and your birth year is 1990, the password will be "RAVI1990".
