Who can use DigiLocker?

DigiLocker is available for use by Indian residents who have a valid Aadhaar number. Any individual who has registered for Aadhaar can create a DigiLocker account and start using the platform to store and manage their digital documents.

In addition to individual users, government departments, agencies, and organizations can also integrate with DigiLocker to issue digital documents directly to individuals' DigiLocker accounts. This allows them to provide secure and convenient access to various documents, such as educational certificates, governmentissued IDs, driving licenses, vehicle registration certificates, and more.
